It's time for the God to build once again. Mellow Man Ace is back on the scene with a brand new single entitled, "God Builds", and a new album in the works called, "Restoring Order".


The new album has been in the recording phase for the last nine months and trust that Mellow Man Ace has been putting in work. The bulk of the production on the album is handled by DJ Rocky Racoon from Paramount CA with the rest of the production duties handled by Bronx born producer Sparkz Mentalz.


Mellow Man Ace had this to say about working with Rocky Racoon and Sparkz Mentalz: "Rocky Racoon is a young Mexican gem who fell on my lap via myspace. He listens to my ideas real tough and is a true student of the game who takes his time after pickin' my brain about how we made records in the 80's and 90's. He's a well schooled chopper who flips beats in ways only cats that got that sh!t do. Sparkz Mentalz did the MC Lyte and Ali Vegas beats for my album...and don't sleep on Sparkz Mentalz fam - he's a cat mad dudes is about to speak on for the passion his beats carry, and the way he flips on beats like Jackie Chan on four Red Bulls no doubt."


"Restoring Order" will also feature guest spots from Tony Touch, Medusa and Funkdoobiest, with an album intro by DJ Disco Wiz.


The way Mellow Man Ace puts it down on this record, people will have to stop and take notice. "I'm that dude that everybody sleeps on until I open my mouth and makes them say...Wow kid, this ain't no Mentirosa flow. (laughs) For the past decade plus, mad cats in Cali have tried and have been successful at sweeping my influence on modern day culture under the Hip Hop rug, but I put a complete stop to that on Restoring Order as I'm calling out names on this joint. Also the Left Coast been sleep for a hot minute so I'ma stir things up a bit no doubt."


With new music, a new album and a new deal with Royal Bloodline Records, distributed by E1 (which is also Mellow Man Ace's new label) 2010 is shaping up to be a very good year indeed. Plans are to have the new album out by March/April of the new year.
