It's been over a decade since the villian in black has been on the scene with a full length album.
After releasing "Ruthless For Life" in 1998, the pioneering west coast emcee was rather quiet, limiting his role on the mic to mostly guest spots. He appeared on albums by Ice Cube, Dr.Dre, Cypress Hill and even Public Enemy, contributing two verses to the Paris produced "Rebirth Of A Nation". There was even talk at one point that Ren might release an entire solo record on Paris' Guerrilla Funk label but the album never happened.
Fans can rejoice as, almost without warning, the villian in black is back. "RenInCarnated" will be released on October 31st via iTunes. Although not much is known about the album at this time, Ren has stated that, "It's the same Ren as before, just in another body. I feel like I got tighter too over the years through maturity. Everybody will have to wait and see, and check it out on the 31st of October. Go get it. Put it in, and listen to it from beginning to end."
