"Let Not Your Heart Be troubled"

My heart is precious to me.

I guard it like Fort Knox.

Men are not allowed in it,

To change my feelings like they chnage their socks.

The only love that belongs there,

Is of the ones who respect me and care.

I can't afford to allow someone or anyone,

No matter who they be.

Bo guard or enter my heart with fire and desire,

Or feelings of loving me, and its not exclusively.

It makes me uneasy and uncomfortable ,

to have to show compassion.

People carry they love out like it's a fashion.

I love to be in love with passion.

I can't trouble my heart,

If that love is not lasting.

Can You feel me?

Not with your hands, use your imagination.

My heart doesn't give out an invitation.

No solicitation. Show appreciation.

I am more than a solicit. I can be explicit.

So becareful when you come for a visit.

My heart is guarded. We could never be departed.

If you think you can win my heart,

You must be retarded.

If you fight for it,

Do right for it.

I don't want it to split.

And I will not let you come in and just sit.

Harboring around can cause me hurt.

Dipping in and out also wont work.

You only have one heart.

The Creator made us that way.

So don't be a fool and play.

A heart can be combined with another,

But not doubled.

So respect my heart and its desires,

And LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED!

The story behind the poem....every woman has a time when she gets hurt and refuses to get hurt again. I am in the process of opening a womens shelter for troubled women. Physcial violence is bad but Mental Cruelty is the worst. For the ladies that's suffering I want to help.  Bringing out the Glam in others and let them feel good about themselves before they lose hope.
