Kaygee of the Legendary Cold Crush Brothers unleashes his new album titled "The Way We Like It". This album is a labor of love. For the first time in his career he is able to create music and bring forth what he wants to do. He is able to express himself with providing good music and not be defined as a specific genre. The album is defined as being Hip-Pop which is a fusion of rock, pop, hip-hop, gospel and dance music. The creation of this album allowed Kaygee to work with all the different type of styles of music that he enjoys.
A portion of the proceeds from his new album will go to charitable organizations dealing with cancer, HIV-Aids and obesity because it is important to give back to our communities and help those in need. The album is available on Amazon.com now for physical cd's and MP3 downloads will be available in all online stores on August 9, 2010.
Almighty Kaygee influenced Chuck D, who he considers a "powerful emcee" as well as Kool Keith, who Almighty Kaygee met in the third grade. He has collaborated with such artists as C&C Music Factory, KRS-One, Funk Master Flex, Doug E Fresh and more. Almighty Kaygee has produced "Flesh not Bone" on the Spooks first album and wrote a score for the HBO movie "Disappearing Acts." Almighty Kaygee has also performed with the Cold Crush Brothers at the grand opening of the "Experience Music Project" in Seattle. The Cold Crush Brothers are on exhibit within the museum as one of the groups that contributed significantly to Hip Hop history. During their dynamic performance The Cold Crush Brothers brought down the house, along with LL Cool J during the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the museum's "Hip-Hop Nation: Roots, Rhymes and Rage" exhibit when it opened at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
In 2009 Kaygee started his own label, Allmighty Entertainment. His label currently has five artists signed with projects out. The genre of music that he is currently marketing is Reggae, metal, R&B and Hip-Hop. There is also is a album dedicated to educating the public on the dangers of not taking care of Mother Earth. The album is titled "Saving Planet Earth." A portion of the proceeds go to various organizations dealing with healing and preservation of the earth.
Allmighty Entertainment is committed and dedicated to true talent, a strong commitment to respecting and upholding the virtue of women, no cursing or using the "n" word, or any other derogatory words and respecting the environment. The same elements that true hip hop are based on. It is a label that anyone can appreciate the music, without being offensive to any one group.
