Guerrilla Funk coming back with hard truth
08-18-10 00:04

After a quiet start to 2010, things are beginning to heat up once again on the Guerrilla Funk label, and big projects are in store for 2011.

It has just been announced that Paris' latest album is in production now.  Currently untitled, it's his leanest and most aggressive project in years, and his first offering since 2008's critically-acclaimed Acid Reflex. It promises to deliver hard truth over raw, rough music as never before.

Guerrilla Funk is proud to announce its latest artist signing, Thang (featuring George Clinton). An homage to the sound of the glory days of P-Funk, this Paris-produced tour-de-force features the Good Doctor hisself -- Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Parliament/Funkadelic frontman George Clinton.

T-K.A.S.H.'s new album, Street Legal, is in production now as well.  If you're not up on T-K.A.S.H., dig his brilliant Brains All Over the Streets LP -- and feel why he continues to be one of the strongest voices in Hard Truth hip-hop.

True Justice, long-time tour support DJ for both Paris and T-K.A.S.H., has signed to Guerrilla Funk.  His new album, The Man of Steel, is in production now.

Uno the Prophet's long-awaited Guerrilla Funk debut, Split the Prophet, is finally in production. Unapologetic in his convictions, he's one of the few remaining voices in hip-hop representing brutal hard truth.
