After seven official releases dating back 22 years ago including the legendary single, “Mentirosa”, triple OG Mellow Man Ace releases his 8^th album, “Restoring Order.”

Mellow Man Ace began the recording process for “Restoring Order” in mid 2008 amidst a year of many changes in his personal life. The album was produced by Cazal, Sparkz Mentals and Rocky Raccoon, who are all new comers to the industry. Mellow Man Ace says of his newfound production team, “I wanted to start fresh and new again so I went after dope young talent that had the same hunger and passion as I did to be heard and respected.”

 

As one of our hip hop elders, Mellow Man Ace felt it was time to bring about some order in a world of plastic, unoriginal hip hop and it came to him in the form of a message, directly from Afrika Bambaataa.

In this album, Mellow Man Ace puts his heart on the line addressing his personal struggles as well as bringing back that purity to hip hop purists who might have fell out of love with hip hop due to current state of the music.
