Arrested Development return with a brand new song & video

For hip-hop fans and music enthusiasts always thirsty for complex sounds and the newest innovations from raw artists, you're in for a treat. Arrested Development's newest video just might be the modern sounds we've all been looking for.

The visuals uploaded via social media features the trademark warmth and creative filtering specialities of directors Todd and Sara McPhetridge. Working alongside Vagabond Productions, the music video accomplishes nothing short of an organic masterpiece, featuring Speech showcasing his smooth, milk and honey flow through an elegantly-woven montage.

But the video isn't the only aspect that favors progressive artistry. In terms of the music itself, Speech's poetic hooks and charm are enough to infuse listeners with a refreshing vibe. Not only that, the lyrics embody a blatant anthem advocating for a change in one's life:

“I've been searching for change a lot/ My brain is shod looking for another way/ And I've been searching light in the dark/ The slightest of sparks to spark for me a brighter day,” Speech sings as the song kicks off, all of which building up to that contagious hook, “My whole world changed in one day.”

If you're in for such contagion and always looking for new music, check out ArrestedDevelopment's “In 1 Day (Whole World Changed)”. Also be sure to visit the band's official site for more info and product details.

Initially formed in 1988, Arrested Development went on to release their debut album “3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days in the Life Of...” which became the number one album in the Village Voice's 1992 Pazz and Job Critic's Poll, as well as The Wire's 1992 Critics's Choice. Then in 1993, the group would go on to win two Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance by a Duo/Group.
