Throwin' It Back to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

This day in hip-hop throws it back to a classic snapshot of the iconic rap group, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Donning the nefarious “Bone” surname moniker, members feature Bizzy, Wish, Layzie, Krayzie, and Flesh-N-Bone.

Each carrying unique backstories and wisdom to teach through their songs, the rap group came across NWA’s Eazy-E who rallied them as one unified protege. Signed under Ruthless Records, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony debuted in 1995 with their timeless hit-record E. 1999 Eternal, which spawned critically-acclaimed tunes like “1st of the Month,”  “East 1999,” and the very memorable Eazy-E tribute, “The Crossroads.” The latter song would eventually garner a Grammy Award just two years later.
