Throwback: Ice Cube & Westside Connection

Throwback: Ice Cube & Westside Connection

Just when you thought life after the NWA meant nothing more than a solo career for Ice Cube and his volatile brand of gangsta rap, think again; This day in hip-hop throws it back to the timeless rap supergroup Westside Connection.

Synonymous to its title, the group housed prominent names in the genre such as Mack 10, WC, and Cube, combining west coast finesse into one solid brand--and what good would a throwback be without some tunes? Better yet, how about throwing it back to the group's timeless debut record, "Bow Down," which peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 and garnered RIAA Platinum that same year.
